Robotic process automation
In mature organizations, BPM systems never operate in isolation. It is essential for them to be integrated with existing ERP solutions in financial and HR processes. The Bosflow system offers broad integration capabilities using various methods. But what if the client’s legacy system does not have integration options? In such cases, RPA – Robotic Process Automation – can be used for inter-system integration.
When integrating with the use of RPA, the robot utilizes the user interface: it retrieves data from one system and enters it into another. This approach does not require any integration work on the part of the external system. The robot ‘clicks’ through the integrated system, replicating the actions a person would typically perform when entering data.
A software robot is also invaluable in processes beyond integration. It excels at repetitive and tedious tasks, such as entering, retrieving and processing data in Excel, filling out and sending template documents as well as checking, comparing and updating data.
Bosflow seamlessly connects people, systems and robots. When building a process in the Bosflow system, you decide whether a given task should be performed by a human, triggered via an external system’s API or executed by a robot.
